Handel? M-m-m-m....

I have mentioned earlier that my son loves Handel. He still falls asleep faster and sleeps tighter to this CD

and is all happy and hoppy when he hears this CD.

A couple of days ago, while we were driving, I played this CD for him.

When Troy likes some food, he always makes this long pleased savoring sound "M-m-m-m-m...". At this point, this is his way to express liking something.

So as soon as he heard #7 Lascia ch'io pianga from Rinaldo he immediately stopped babbling and became very quiet for quite a while. He just sat listening to the beautiful music and Renee Fleming's voice. And then he suddenly made that sound "M-m-m-m-m.." and again he listened for quite a while and again he went: "M-m-m-m".

It's both funny and cute how my little boy is exploring and responding to beautiful music.

As for Lascia ch'io pianga - my son has a good taste -take a listen: it's exquisite, and Renee's singing is superb.
